Male Breast Cancer Awareness Day 2024

This Male Breast Cancer Awareness Day, we’re shining a light on the unique challenges faced by men with breast cancer, a condition affecting 221 Australian men each year, most commonly those aged 60 to 70. With a lifetime risk of 1 in 556, men often face delayed diagnoses, resulting in more advanced stages of the disease. This year’s theme, Living Well, Your Way, reminds us that every man’s experience with cancer is personal — and your path to wellness should reflect that.

At @coffscoastsportsphysio, we provide specialised support for survivors and those undergoing treatment. Our oncology massage and lymphoedema services, including Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) and Complex Lymphoedema Therapy (CLT), are designed to ease swelling, support recovery, and enhance your quality of life throughout your journey.

Don’t wait for symptoms to worsen — take control of your well-being, your way.
